New Prez Needed, Wanted
Hey folks, farewell. I'm bugging out of the NAFHA. Permanently. Higher priorities elsewhere, with a local wildlife rescue, the standalone HERP db, and the AHA, and several non-wildlife charities. A ton of good causes, but so little time, the AZ chapter of the NAFHA is the absolute last of them on my...

See a county sans a record, jump on it! Sans apology. My area suffers from Hubbsitis, a condition where all available counties within 500-700 miles have herp vouchers due to some guy named Brian. It was going to be the black hawk. But then another funny borderland S. AZ bird showed up. And for most of our 3 hour hike, we were never out of earshot of one. We saw 6 males and at least 4 females.

I really like that double-dip idea, Chris. I think you're speaking the right language there, as Reason and Science only leads to brick walls on politicians' ears. Amen Hubbs. Money is the reason they are protected in AZ. There is zero biological reason. Developers pay a fine (rhymes with bounty) for the estimated # of gilas on any land tract that developers bulldoze.
