Re: kinda cool
Super cool :) Surprising to me since every Whiptail I have seen doesn't let me get closer than ten feet! In my backyard I planted a twisted willow about 15 years ago, and once it was a decent size a few years ago a Fence Lizard made the tree and about 20' radius out from it his domain. He became ver...

Historical precipitation data for California?
Does anyone know where I can find records of rainfall for previous years for California? All I can seem to find is monthly averages and such, but nothing where you can look at the actual records year by year (and preferably county by county, or something similar). Any help is appreciated, thanks! Rory

I just found my 7' red tail boa shedding a few days ago, and it was down at her vent and sorta stuck. . . .gently pulled her out of the cage and helped her roll it off nice and easy, and presto! fully removed shed. Yeah no problem, it's a really cool opportunity to save money and recycle. If you are seriously considering it, I would recommend an older model mercedes diesel to convert, it's pretty easy. I would second the dolly idea, or you can even buy one of the little red wagons (some have pretty good sized air-filled tires) and just strap the boards onto that. I would think that it would both handle rougher terrain than the dolly and be able to take a heavier load.
