I've found plenty near my dad's cabin on the Gulkana just around Sourdough. I can't remember finding any north in Fairbanks but I'm sure I did as a kid.
I'll be up in Fairbanks in June...maybe I'll beat you to that voucher! ha. I doubt I'll have time to look for them while up there though.

Lou, Funny that you went out yesterday looking for boas and ruber. Me and Kevin Price met up in riverside county and did the exact same thing. Actually, i posted the almost exact same video to instagram of the ruber we found. Also our first time reallly out looking for boas. With the same result.

I've got a photo of that same sign from Iguazu from 2013 when I went down there. I saw a guy shooting a selfie with one as he was holding it close to his lap. I so wanted it to bite him right in the balls to teach him a lesson. Sadly, it did not.

Yeah Nick! How how come everytime I'm out there visiting I only get about 10% of this stuff? I guess I need to come out for more than 3-4 days this year...and probably not in October. Great stuff, wild dogs are killer in addition to all the amazing herps. That Vine Snake pic is so good.

Thanks for putting together this report. I'm actually trying to figure out a time in my schedule to hit Ecuador again and plan on using the guys from Tropical Herping as well to show me around the Mindo area. There's a lot of cool stuff to find up there.

Make sure you visit Hacienda Baru. It's just north of Dominical and has plenty of trails and herps to find on the property.
