Re: Thailand and Komodo Recommendation?

Hi. Online research for herping in Thailand can turn out to be a success with a bit of luck, or a complete failure, unless it's a National park which they actually allow you to go at night. With TonTan you can't go wrong, just mention what species you want to find and he'll take you to the right spo...

Not a photo, but a video I captured last year in Thailand. I saw a skink lying on the road, I looked at it and then decided to buy some bottles of gas on the store next to it. When I was done buying I went to take a second glance at the skink and saw a Lycodon laoensis , Laotian wolf snake closing i...

Hi Jazz. I'm not familiar with herping in either Udon Thani or Phuket, but in Krabi you should consider booking a room here http://www.phanombenchamountainresort.com/ , here you can start herping immediatly outside your bungalow and continue up the river/stream, which runs through the resort. Ah, I thought so Henning. Thats a rare Blue Bronzeback (Dendrelaphis cyanachloris), one of my favourite species of Thai snake. Here's a couple of my pictures to help you see the similarities. First, the only one I found in Thailand, a bit further south: http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag154/Rup...
