I agree with Kris. If you want chameleons in your yard, build a large screened in enclosure for them to prevent them escaping. If you want wild reptiles in your yard, do what you can to encourage native species to take up residence. There are some still around, even in urban areas.

Over the holidays, Amazon was selling the new Nikon D3400 (one of their beginner DSLRs) with a couple lenses for around $500 for the kit. Don't know if it is still going, but worth checking out.

I've actually found new moons to be not too bad as long as the temps are warm and it's not too windy. On November 29 (which was a new moon), I found 18 snakes down there. And back on September 1 (another new moon) I got 31 snakes. But I've also had new moons that didn't turn out as well. Any thought...
