Nephrurus Cinctus hatching

Recently hatched out a group of nephrurus cinctus. I recorded a time lapse video of one hatching in my incubator. The video was taken over the span of 6 hours. I hope to one day see knobtails in the wild!

Green Tree Python

Hey! I am more of a lurker than a poster but decided to finally start sharing. In 2016 I traveled from Cairns Queensland Australia to the very tip of Cape York. One of the highlights of the trip was the few days spent in Iron Range National Park. Here is a quick clip of a green tree python found whi...

Re: If There Isnt A Photo, It Didnt Happen

I was out hiking in the Bear Mountain/Harriman NY area. At that time I had never done much herping. I was wearing a black shirt with a big yellow snake on the back. It stuck out like a sore thumb and was the logo of a reptile forum i belonged to back then. I was ascending a steep rocky area of the t...

Re: Requesting Images of the Commonly CB in the Wild

Hey everyone. Great thread. Im mostly a lurker but thought i'd contribute to this thread. I keep mainly morelia and anteresia in my private collection. Re: Italian Wall Lizard Populations

I frequent Pelham Bay Park and have seen them basking on the track when no one is out for a jog. A friend and former colleague Robert Mendyk is done some work regarding them in the NY area. his publication will pop up if you do a search for his name

Re: Bushmaster: Ditmars and the World's Largest Viper

I am a few chapters into the book and agree with the typos and switching back and forth between ditmars and the writers experiences. I am enjoying it so far. i have always been a fan of ditmars, Beebe (who is mentioned in the book as well) and any other book relating to the history of the bronx zoo.
