Great stuff guys........Jim those are some rock stars. CA High desert has some of the best there are, but I bet UT has some hidden jewels. NV has some amazing aninmals too. What areas of UT contain the reddest soils/habitat, and do they inhabit the reddest pituophis? Just curious if habitat influences color.

I did it once in Borrego with my buddy Ryan. We also saw 3 boas. Heck I think the only 2 things we didn't see was a king and a big gecko. The speck was one of those bright yellow ones from above Culp Canyon. It was one of the coolest specks I have ever seen. What a great night that was.......

Opinions wanted.........In your opinion, what is the rarest naturally occurring morph in the wild. IMO, it would be the unicolor or reduced pattern morphs found in LA County. The animal pictured in Hubb's book that the late Lloyd Lemke had is the coolest and rarest Cal King I have seen.
