Does anyone have recommendations for eco-lodges in the Bocas area? The nicer ones I see online seem pretty pricey.
We're definitely looking for a nicer place with beach access and hopefully some jungle trails within walking distance.
Thanks!

I love the info about the gut contents of the mussurana.
What's coming out the the gut of the DOR Loxocemus? Looks like a snake... Were you able to ID it?

That would also be news to me. I can't think of any scenario by which he'd be able to legally sell a wild caught z. He could potentially have a permit to keep the hots he has on his site though.

The kingsnake link is him clearly stating he's selling a wild-caught zonata. He's located in Tracy, CA and also has some pics of cobras etc on his website. No idea who he is or what sort of permits he has. He may be perfectly legal for all I know. That's why I was wondering if anyone here knows him.

Joseph, Most of the above would fit that bill. The yellowtails would be the exception. I certainly would not call them "easy-to-handle". They are clearly the most aggressive member of the drymarchon genus. Mussurana are generally docile, but are rear-fanged and can have an aggressive feedi...
