That's so weird, I wonder if they algae can tell the difference in eggs? Every time I have found breeding spotted salamanders, there have been at least 3 or 4 different amphibian species breeding in the pools

I've been seeing lots of two lines, reds, and wood frogs on this side of the border. Was there a chorus and a gathering of the chorus frogs? I'd love to come check them out

Thanks guys, the larvae shots are in a small aquarium, for the hellbenders I use a Nikon d80 in an Ikelite housing.

As for the stork, I just took the picture. They must have been awfully close, I guess. I have stared at that picture a lot, it just seems stranger the more I look at it

Damn... you're good. What kind of equipment are you using?... I know that has little to do with the shots you posted. The fox... how close were you and why is the ear bloody? That green lynx spider is cool, great shot too.

Are the red widows dangerous at all? We find a brownish one frequently that looks somewhere between that one and a black widow.

Sweet salamandering. The rains really got stuff moving around here too. I was surprised to see so many wood frogs in sept. I haven't even looked at my pics yet. Those worm eating shots are great!
