Re: Hiking the Grand Canyon: the Havasupai Indian Reservatio
Thanks a bunch everyone. We are walking, jogging, going up and and down inclines, etc. at a minimum of four miles a day. We will do several 10 mile hikes with boots, with one in Sweetwater Texas. I'm hopping to get some great photos... if I choose to carry 8lb of camera and lens. Thanks again and I ...

Hiking the Grand Canyon: the Havasupai Indian Reservation
My wife and daughter are hiking down, about 10 miles, into the Grand Canyon. I was the chosen one to get them in shape for the trek. Re: Envenomations
You are correct. Old school, but we still have doctors out there not using CroFab as recently as last month. The 18 year old female was in the hospital for 28 days for a Agkistrodon piscivorus envenomation. She still may lose her thumb. Oh yeah, they did finally give her antivenin after 6 days.

Re: TX HB 1788 introduced
The local Academy here in Houston could not find anything on the stamp... though I showed them page 26 of the Outdoor Annual. The vest will certainly be interesting. You live in an awesome area, to say the least...

Re: TX HB 1788 introduced
I picked up my Reptile and Amphibian stamps yesterday. When I asked does my 8 year old daughter need a stamp... they had to some searching and said yes. So now she can legally walk cuts with me and catch reptiles and amphibians. Just another taxing system from Texas. A big thanks to all who had the...
