florida naives.

I keep alot of Florida natives from scarlet kings to blue garters water snakes and even ringnecks. So I was wondering if any of you keep any Florida natives wc or cb because Floridian species are my favorite snakes to keep. Most of mine are wc but there are a few that aren't. lucky you i have seen 4 snakes this year
1 southern black racer
1 southern ringneck
2 florida cottonmouths
hopfully my trip to pennsylvania to see family will turn up some snakes

if you want to go in the ocean get a longer kayak.I perfer sit on top kayaks so i can get out easier.Mine cost 169 bucks and is 8 feet long,38 pounds.Got 2 at sports authority

i just went there for a field trip 2 weeks ago.Saw 2 racerunners,anoles cuban and florida,red rat,alligators,some pond sliders,and i couldnt resist picking up a beautiful large wolf spider.Congrats

Short trips sometimes less. Long trips (but not overnight) - fishing license Camera + spare CF card and batteries GPS + spare batteries basic first aid kit two water bottles two energy bars + lunch (usually lunchables - the cheap ones w/o drink, that junk drink adds more than a dollar to cost) spar...

what do you bring in the field???

I was watching salinesnakeguys video on youtube on what to bring herping.I want to know what all you bring herping.Maybe i might start bringing something new in the field.
I always bring a camera,bug spray,a gigantic overly dramatic flashlight,and sometimes a snake hook in my hiking backpack.

in most states where you need a permit once the gator reaches 4 feet it is sent to a zoo or in my case(florida)it may be harvested.
I reccommend you get a baby and raise it up but check on the 4 foot law and right me back

i have had lyme disease and it was terrible.I was ten though but I got over it.I am herping in pennsyvania this summer so nice to know about this.First post on the site too.
