I've seen zonata when it's lightly snowing and went out directly after rain and flipped boas,kings, and mountain kings. Depends on the area and time of year I guess.

I did a little research and I think I found the culprit, scolopendra aztecorum. Not a 100% sure either lol like you said it looks alot like scolopendra polymorpha but ive been flipping rocks for over 15 years in southern california and polymorpha are a lot smaller and common where they are found fro...

Found this awhile back and I was wondering if somebody could tell me what species it is, I have seen a few bigger than this individual. It was found close to the San diego/ Imperial county line.
