Re: The last year or so in Aus
Awesome mate! It looks like you have seen plenty of critters and taken some top quality photos of them over the last year. The O.temporalis though, made my jaw drop. I assume that must be your best find ever? Congratulations.

Hi Justin
Great Videos! Thought that i'd let you know that the animal you have ID'd as Delma inornata looks to actually be a Anomalopus verreauxii.
Cheers

Great photography! I've never made it out to Chilligoe when I have been in North Queensland but after seeing this post, i'll make sure I head out there next time i'm in Cairns.

Re: Best herp!
I couldn't decide between an elapid i found in 2008 or a Morelia oenplliensis I found back in January. Toxicity won out in the end! Not the best shots but a pretty cool animal anyway. Oxyuranus microlepidotus Inand Taipan. http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j337/dpurcell77/RIMG0220-1.jpg http://i10...

Re: Over what period of time have you herp hunted in AZ?
I have only herped AZ once, way back in August 2009. Snakes are alot more common there than here in Aus and i love rattlers. I found 4 species of Crotalus , my first ever Tortoise, a venomous lizard, a number of Colubrids, a Phrynosoma solare and a really cool toad Bufo alvarius . Arizona put a big ...

Re: Photo Request, Herps eating roadkill
Back in January I was herping in the Northern Territory one night when I came upon a Cane Toad feeding on what appeared to be another road killed toad. http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j337/dpurcell77/DSC_0980.jpg I thought this was quite interesting and as I looked further up the road about 15 m...

Re: Argentina and Brazil
Thank's for the kind words everyone. That Dracaena was an awesome beast and quite an impressive size. Josh: I appreciate the info you have given me. Paraguay sounds like a great place, probably a bit more off the tourist trail than Argentina and Brazil which is appealing. Hope you are going to make ...
