Lake Havasu City, AZ herping
I was wondering if there are any members who are from the Lake Havasu City, AZ area? I was looking for someone to go field herping with. I am particulary interested in photographing rattlesnakes, but all reptiles are interesting to me. If anyone would be interested in going into the field around her...

CamStatic, Have a good time on your trip to AZ. Watch your step! I'm sure you already know, but, make sure to bring (or buy when you arrive) a full brim hat, chap stick ect. And its a good idea to keep a case or two of the 1 pint watter bottles in your rental car. I'm not sure if you have been to th...

A chuck walked up to within 6 feet of me then turned and crawled into the rocks. Only herp I've seen in weeks, and I've been cruising. No luck though.
"even if your into lizards (chuckles)" LOL. That made me laugh, and my wife look at me funny. Thanks, I needed that today.

Hey guys, I went out cruising last night from about 10pm-12pm. It had rained most of the morning, but stopped in the early afternoon. It was still overcast after dark, so I had hoped the bright waning gibbous moon wouldn't effect any snake activity too much. It was about 88 degrees. Everything seeme...

Thanks for your help and advice guys. My wife and I got skunked again tonight. Maybe its time to start searching for other roads. I agree with RobK, that paved roads are probably better.
