Gotta love the petroglyphs and pictographs of fauna. I've seen some a few feet from each other in the guntersville area visable as a horridus, the other an agkistrodon. Anyways, I always get a kick out of pre-columbian field guides.

Yes, in a sandhill. The area was adjacent to a steephead ravine though. I've found an EDB, garter and clarki in and around ENP during January in a week. Along with several lizards, several anurans and a few turtles and american crocs, youngest was a juvi. and hundreds of gators also having a few being juvis. Nothing hibernates in South Florida it seems.
