I don't assume that all "yokels" catch turtles and slap them around on the water, or pull on their tails to dislodge them from the mud. If they did all do that, then sure, I would be prejudice against them, but I don't honestly think that is the case. I simply don't like the way this one ...

It's also quite possible that the whole Turtleman-visiting-the-sick-kid thing was an attention-seeking ploy in order to promote his TV ventures. Kind of hard for me to come to that conclusion if their were no camera crews present and the only media attention it got was some third rate county paper....
