Re: Rattlesnake Myth?

I've observed a neonate atrox injecting far too little venom to kill a pinkie mouse. So I deduce that there is a bit of a learning curve.
I've also seen neonates scared out of their gourds and seem more than likely they are going to inject all they can muster.

Re: Which parts of AZ will you NOT hunt due to safety reason

What part of Arizona would I NOT hunt for safety reasons.... Well, after some thoughtful deliberation on my part, I do believe that I would avoid areas with a high concentration of gold miners and their claims. The area West of Lake Pleasant rings a bell in that regard. Heavily armed, suspicious, an...

I sometimes dream of snakes.
The last one was after relocating a wdb from a neighbor's porch.... She was very excited about it!
So, that night I dreamed that I went around back of her house and found five more diamondbacks.
Cool, eh?

When I drove through that area last month I was intrigued by Wet Beaver Creek. But I did not get there. If you head towards Montezuma Well, and go past it to the North a few miles, there is a turnoff to Beaver Creek campground, which might be a good jumping off point. Good luck!
