I apologize for my absence on the forum over the past year or so, but work and other pursuits have monopolized my time as of late.

Dman - I think you're correct. They looks like anaxyrus larvae to me - short of looking at the venter, counting tooth rows, behavior, etc. I see a lot of toads that have that sandy or gold-like flecking to them. Draytonii are typically more mottled at that stage, have deeper and longer tails and hav...

Re: Manual, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Program mod
Most of what I shoot are macros - those are all done in full manual. If I'm shooting wide angle shots I usually shoot aperture priority with the first one as a baseline and then use manual to find the butter-zone exposure. Things become slightly more complicated when you start using fill flash on wi...

Re: How much to charge for prints?
I think $100 for an 8x12 is unrealistic. I think you should figure out what your cost is for each shot and double it. If your prints cost you $10 and a frame costs $15, then shoot for $50. I think trying to get $75 from a framed 8x12 is a stretch. At 2x cost - if you sell half of your prints, you've...
