Re: Need Your State's Regulations for Breeding Native Specie

As long as they have a hunting license and stay within bag limits there is really nothing that can be done unless it can be proved they are collecting for resale.

I'm looking for something to do between Snake Days in Sanderson and the IHS conference in Houston.

Not much for getting wet but pretty much everything is fair game. Everything I see will be a lifer for the most part.

NAHERP Records and Google Earth

IS anyone else having trouble getting their records to load onto Google Earth when they open GE?

My records used to load automatically, now they don't.

I live out in the boonies and my internet is kind of slow, but this is ridiculous. After ten minutes of having GE open nothing is happening!

Re: Need Your State's Regulations for Breeding Native Specie

Legally speaking, regarding AZ native wildlife, it is illegal to "take" with the intent to captive breed for "sale, barter, or trade." This even applies to animals that are removed from AZ and re-homed in another state.

Re: FHF has moved chapter threads.....

I just had the "what the H..." moment. I read the replies in this thread. I agree with Chris McMartin. As NAFHA was never really what could be considered a true "club" i.e., dues, meetings, etc. (at least in AZ) calling it a chapter is a bit of a misnomer. Subgroup or subforum would be the better te...

Need Your State's Regulations for Breeding Native Species

There is a group of folks in Arizona who are investigating the possibility of changing the AZ Game and Fish regulations to allow the captive breeding of native species for commercial purposes in AZ and outside of AZ. Presently it is illegal to do this. They need each state's Game and Fish regulation...

No specks were found, although there is one spot in the nw corner that might, might, be possible.
We did come across a few Leopard Lizards. Still no Glossy's. The list of species found is in the paper.

Id be very interested to see your data.
