Questions about Coluber constrictor mormon
Hey All, Those of you that are familiar with the Yellow bellied Racer, I have a couple questions. 1) what temp range do you generally see them active above ground, and 2) do they seem to be more active in the morning or the afternoon? Going to go try to find some in the area they are (barely) known ...

What I learned from herping the Trans Pecos is follow the rain. Of course the trick is to not follow a flooding but a steady calm rain. Also,I learned to sleep all day then herp all night.

I've been using the free Picasa photo program for many years but it no longer is working. So I tried Microsoft Photos. But it automatically links to One Drive that fills up if you go on one herp trip.
Does anyone know of another "Free" solution like Picasa that is available for PC?

Next time I'll just hotel it. The money I save on gas from pulling a trailer across the country will more than make up for the cost of a room. With a cool shower. And dry air.

I went through the Big Bend area in April one year and it was too cold and wet.
It might be better to wait a little later in the year.
The mythical general rule is "the first new moon in June."
I've also heard September can be good as well.
