Unfortunately for you, the greatest 'mander diversity in Ohio is in the far southeast. That said (keeping in mind I haven't herped much in Ohio), after poking around Google Maps a little, I would take a look at some parks to the east of Bellefontaine. There is also some interesting diversity around ...

Let me add to the conversation here: on Sunday (the 24th) I found a single long-toed salamander in a pond in Moscow, ID. He was all alone, but I imagine that will change soon (if it hasn't already).

That was one heck of a year, with fantastic diversity and some truly unusual species! My favorite has to be the NM Aneides - that one is near the top of my bucket list, so I'm happy to see you found so many. When exactly did you search out that species?

The other Andy is right, zonata aren't on the Oregon side. They are, however, just a few-minute drive from one of the bridges that crosses over to Washington, and definitely within the gorge.
