I work at Oklahoma State University and at the threat of snow tomorrow they closed it down... yeehaw, four day weekend! So I rented a car and am driving until I find reptiles. Herping near San Antonio

Hello everyone, I am going to a conference next week in San Antonio. Looking at the map there isn't any great looking parks to get in some herping. May I please ask for recommendations? If I have a camera and binoculars, do I need a herping/hunting license?

Thank you kindly,

Thanks for the work Dr. Fry; I have found it most revealing and enjoy the evolutionary implications.
