Nice job Owen. I have also heard of spadefoots being found by 2 different people in the south end of the county but from around the same time you found the tantilla. I also know someone who found a DOT (dead on trail) tantilla last year in the county.

Owen, carrying a scale is no prob. I keep my scale, hooks, lures, and pliers in my vest pockets. Maybe tattoo a tape measure on your leg, then you can always measure the RSG. lol

Have you noticed that infernallis have the red tongue with black tip? I have not seen many, but I think atratus atratus when I see that. Probably just because I mainly see atratus atratus lol
