I've been buried with other things since the trip. I'll hopefully have a little report put together before long. Weather kind of made things tough with the herps; alternator going out on my truck made things tough on me personally; but the people were great!

Also heard peepers for about 2 days last week in NW Arkansas...but mostly quiet since then. I did hear just a few at dusk tonight. I have a pond not far and it is crazy with peeper each year. I have a collecting permit, so I could pick up a few for you if logistics can be worked out.

Ouch! Just checked and the lodge varies from $95 to $165 a night. I wil say though, they just finished a big renovation and its really nice! Yes, the lodge rates are pretty pricey. I'm already paying for one of the RV sites as our "ground zero", but on the fence about whether I might want...

Planning continues... I've been getting passed around from person to person, which just takes time to work through and solidify permits/permissions. No major roadblocks to the dates or location. I just don't want to put out a general announcement and then have to retract something later.
