Half-ish Year Review 2016
Since I don't post on here too often, I figured I would post some of my favorite finds and photos from this season thus far. Photos are in no particular order, but if you'd like to know details (besides exact locations) just let me know https://c6.staticflickr.com/2/1487/26561162981_22428d031b_z.jpg...

Re: New to Maryland - First 2016 Outing
Went back to the same location this morning and finally met up with the Spotted Salamanders I was after last time! My first rock of the day yielded a couple Eastern Red-backed Salamanders. http://i800.photobucket.com/albums/yy285/rndouglas/RND_3316_zpsxpyw4htr.jpg But it wasn't long before I found ...

3 Rainbow Snakes in Under 24 Hours
Early Tuesday morning I set out for North Carolina with one goal in mind, find a rainbow snake. The whole 6 hr drive to my buddies house in Virginia I had this nagging feeling that all this driving would be of little use. He had only seen 1 live one to 22 dead ones, and I know many others who have h...

Re: A Rocket Run to NE NC - 3 RAINBOW SNAKES!
If you want to get technical, we saw two on the first day and one on the 2nd. But still 3 in less than 24 hours was pretty absurd.Josh Holbrook wrote:Wow. I've spent weeks of my life looking for Rainbow Snakes (albeit mostly seminola.) I think I'd crap my pants to find three in a day...

I'm still on the hunt for that king and coral. Maybe we will end up back down there are the same time again. Yes the corn...

Wow, that was serious post! I enjoyed every minute of it and did not want it to end. Good year! I usually like to mention a particular picture or animal but I cant decide which was my favorite, I guess I like the Jersey stuff best. Always amazes me when someone rolls into the Pine Barrens and does ...

Year Review 2015 - PA, NJ, MD, MO, IL, FL, GA, DE
My first big boy post :) Excuse any extra small/extra large pics. They're all copied from facebook so a lot of them are screwy. 2015 was an incredible year and will sure be hard to beat. Great places, friends, and awesome herps. I won't go into too much detail but if you have any questions just ask....

Re: 2015 Hopes and Dreams.
Hmm. As far as the northeast goes.
1. Eastern Kingsnake
2. Mole Kingsnake
3. Rainbow Snake
4. Green Salamander
5. Hellbender
Of course there are lots of other critters I'd like to see, but these are the main ones. I don't have high hopes for a Maryland rainbow but I will try.
