I am a little concerned about how easily people are letting BP/LEO search their vehicles. Are you required to let them if they pull you over down there? I know if you are being 'detained' it's a different story.

Vantage area is pretty good. I have found them north of Moses lake too but not as commonly as in Vantage.

Mr. Hoyer is a very nice guy and a real knowledge asset for this community. I wish I knew even half of what he knows. It's a real treat to be able to hang out with him in the field. He reminds me a lot of my late grandfather who lived to be 102. May your years be just as long Richard.

Interesting, this makes the account of a zonata sighting by my half brother's cousin in the blue mountains a bit more believable. I need to try and track him down and see if he has a photo for it.

Chris,

I have a similar product as the one you linked from Amazon for my 55mm rings but it only works for close up macro photography and I am not a fan of macro fisheye. I am just hoping I can get decent shots with a fisheye effect without having to lug another lens around.

Also I wanted to point out that a filter/adapter for Fisheye shots is appealing do to not having to lug another lens around in my camera bag.

I just picked up a 10-22mm Canon EF-S and I love the wide angle format but was wondering if anyone has used fisheye adapters or the like. Any tips or advice are greatly appreciated. One of my problems with dark settings and high ISO is focusing before the shot. This is easier for shots that have a closer subject matter but harder to focus with long exposure on things that are further away.

Any tips?
