Bora Bora (Warning, extremely limited herp encounters!)

Consider yourself warned! I don't post actual contributions too much here anyone. Part of that is Michigan is a little same old these days. Robbie,

Awesome post. I just found this and loved it all. Looks like a combination of diving and snorkeling? What type of rig are you using? I couldn't get blacktips to come anywhere that close to me on my recent dive trip.

Nikon D7100 just got announced. I haven't seen pricing info yet though. The D7000 is/was a great camera. It is missing the pro body build I like but takes wonderful images. As stated, it is older tech now. I would expect good things from the D7100. It will probably be priced around $1100 though. Bot...

They (turtles) do a little bit. I keep my interests pretty well rounded. Even so, I have become much more enamored with turtles the past 4 or 5 years, and I love a good map turtle. There is a strong turtle following out there, they just don't get the attention of rattlesnakes.

Thanks again,

Chris - I still consider that bag a "housing". You can't take a "weather sealed" DLSR and go snorkeling or diving without something around it. That being said, you can't even really log a scuba dive unless you stay below 15 feet for a certain amount of time. So technically, you can't dive even with ...

Kris, Much of that is a product of where you live and what you shoot. Most of your photo subjects are lizards or large snakes. The 24-105L and the prime are perfect for these types of animals.
