Congrats Rothman! That snake is gorgeous. So, if I understand correctly you road cruised a Cape Cobra a few weeks ago and even chased it into the bush, and now you road cruised your first ever Rosy. I'd say your season is ending better than most anyone else's here!

I took over 30 shots of this ruber in the brush the other night to get the one shot I liked http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g4...

In what will probably be my last desert road cruise of the season, I met up with Jeff (Surfinherp) and hit the San Diego desert. Met with Steve Bledsoe and family while out on the road as well. We had found a few DOR sidewinders and glossy's, one AOR glossy, and then this guy which Jeff was really h...

That was awesome. All the development in that area is SAD for those of us that knew the place well before hand, isn't it? Heart breaking. I used to find more helleri variations within just 10 acres of land there; from an orange coloration, to copper, and the most vivid green I've yet to see. All gone now. Rothdigga,...

MHollanders is correct. A 18-55 is the same whether it is on a DX body or an FX body. What does change is the apparent focal length of the lens being used. A Lens designed for full frame cameras (FX) is made so the image is exposed across the entire sensor. That same lens on a crop camera (DX) will ...

I like the third shot. The placement of the snake is good and shows the area it lives in well.
