There's one that lives in/near my mom's compost heap. Seems to lay it's eggs and overwinter (during what Houstonians call a winter) in it. I peek in and say high about once a visit :lol: Gotta love it. She's a beauty.

There ain't a part of this state without amazing herpetofauna. I love it :mrgreen: My folks live in the suburbs of houston and I've seen buttermilk racers, nerodia, texas rats and thamnophis in their yard.
