No offense intended, but please define what you mean by 'herping'... we are mostly data collectors here... but respect the right to legally collect, and most of us have a few wild caughts.... As primarily a data-collection group... folks here can be a little on the slow side to warm up to new-comers...

Sat the 19th is our first Tejon Ranch survey of the year, and a great chance to meet some top guys/gals... and herp some nearly pristene areas, where you can see stuff not typically seen... One of the first ever albino Ca kingsnakes came from Davis... I was at (then) Big Game Hunter Bob Howard's house when it arrived... he paid $600 for it... which was a LOT of money in 1976... :shock:

no one i know of, has found a gracia yet... rosafucia, along the foothills, sure... but pure 'desert boas'... none recorded. I have several places I think they could/should be... we'll see. well... probably be next week. my honda, my boy was using broke down, and without transportation he can't come over aand care for my 21 yr old shepard, who can't stand up, walk, etc... she has to be hand fed/watered several times a day (as well as her poop cleaned) I don't know how she's holding on....
