gophersnake laying eggs HELP!!!

my gophersnake layed 2 eggs last night and she has one still in her. She last laid one last night about 8:00 or 9:00ish. She has that egg just sitting right by the vent. Should I worry? It's been almost 24 hours now...

One of my customers gave me these garter snakes. I'm not sure what they are. What do you guys think? Center stripe is real prominent, side stripes are a greenish color. it depends on time of year, if you go out the morning after the first storm of the season out here, it will be some type of spadefoot. I know back east they have salamander migrations.

Nice! Good call on the first one! I think you are right. I have seen some box turtles with shells like that and I think it is due to poor husbandry. Lack of UV I believe, but I could be wrong.

I read an article recently about poisoning tree snakes in Guam and it said the tree snake was different in the fact that it would eat dead prey. :roll:

I believe gps babel is available for windows. That's what I have used in the past. Another program is easygps. Try one of those, they have worked for me in the past. I'm not sure I have used it in windows 7 though. I have been using the "wrench" on the database to get my gps coords into the database...

So far I am using 10 gallon aquariums for cages. I have just been using newspaper for bedding. Should that be sufficient? I am trying to do it as cheaply as possible. I do a layer of newspaper on the bottom and then tear off strips and just throw them in there and the mice chew them up and use them ...

My first one took a f/t the first time offered, I would just set it in its cage in front of its hide. My 2nd would only eat lizards over a year. I couldn't even scent mice for it. Finally I tried a native mouse and now it takes f/t readily. Mine are westerns, what are yours?
