my gophersnake layed 2 eggs last night and she has one still in her. She last laid one last night about 8:00 or 9:00ish. She has that egg just sitting right by the vent. Should I worry? It's been almost 24 hours now...

it depends on time of year, if you go out the morning after the first storm of the season out here, it will be some type of spadefoot. I know back east they have salamander migrations.

Nice! Good call on the first one! I think you are right. I have seen some box turtles with shells like that and I think it is due to poor husbandry. Lack of UV I believe, but I could be wrong.

I believe gps babel is available for windows. That's what I have used in the past. Another program is easygps. Try one of those, they have worked for me in the past. I'm not sure I have used it in windows 7 though. I have been using the "wrench" on the database to get my gps coords into the database...

My first one took a f/t the first time offered, I would just set it in its cage in front of its hide. My 2nd would only eat lizards over a year. I couldn't even scent mice for it. Finally I tried a native mouse and now it takes f/t readily. Mine are westerns, what are yours?

I don't know what to make of it either I just don't like railroading people when I don't have access to the information. It was definitely not a wise comment to make. But they were talking quite a bit about snakes. I think he was just trying tell a joke and we all know that sometimes things come out...
