Nice shots and finds Ben. I liked the fossorial snakes. The cerb is a given thumbs up from me. The phrynosoma shots are cool. I saw a baby hernandesi the other day and saw some cornutum a couple weeks back. Always cool to see them

There are many places I would like to fulfill my wishlist, but these are snakes in my state or states I visit somewhat frequently. Arizona - Crotalus willardi obscurus and Sistrurus catenatus edwardsi. Both would be lifers and both tough to find in AZ. California - Crotalus stephensi. Beautiful snak...

I also had the earlier edition which I purchased super cheap. The new edition is a lot bigger and I imagine lots of color photos. Just wondering if anyone has picked it up and what they think about it

Nice job and photography! For some species, road cruising is almost necessary. But I would take hiking over road cruising almost any day. There are only a few species I try to cruise for each year. Keep up the good work

I use manual mode about 99.5%. The only other mode I may play with is Aperture Priority. Shooting in manual allows me to be a little more creative and also helps me learn. We all like our photos a certain way, and manual helps me get closer to what I want in a photo - or at least helps me understand...

Cool Ben! I have yet to see a baby speck. I almost tempted to go up that area and try, but I am not a big fan of that road haha. Plus, I gotta save my money for some of the AZ species I have yet to see. Look forward to seeing what you guys stumble upon next

Jimi, I still have to go up north and look for lutosus. Their variability intrigues me most of the oreganus complex. John Vanek, Dave S, & Phil Peak... Timbers seem very cool. There aren't as many crote species in the Eastern US, but there are some very cool ones! Ross, where are the speck pics?...
