We were much more successful at soliciting snake sightings, re-ceiving credible reports of 54 southern hognoses, 163 pine snakes, 32 short-tailed snakes and 659 diamondbacks. An excellent plug for citizen science. There's not enough public money on Earth to pay for extensive surveys of low-detectab...

The rat snake is a Yellow rat/Everglades Rat snake and a very pretty one at that.
I believe the anole is a Anolis carolinensis seminolus judging from its pale green dewlap.

2013 - Year at a Glance.
2013 turned out to be a good year. Traveled a little throughout Florida, South Alabama, Georgia and up to North Carolina. Spent some time with some great old friends and met some new ones. Come to think of it...It was an awesome year!! Here are some critters, herps and inverts all mixed up together....

The only member I see from north of Florida on this thread is Chris. I'm willing to go north, but then again I live in North Florida, so it doesn't much matter to me. Some of the northern members will probably be going to Conecuh, which is also a SE Chapter function. Have we forgotten that?

Here's a photo Mike took earlier this year in Bradford County, not too far from our home. It too has the scattered sky blue color on its face.
