Others have mentioned it but "cooling" animals to 40-50F was a big, nervous step for many (especially when dealing with high $$ animals).

I believe the first albino Ball Python went for around $150,000... There are still a few Ball Python morphs that are listed at $25k to $35k. Maybe someone knows better than I.

I use a couple wine coolers. They serve a dual purpose (cool snakes in the winter) and with a little Flexwatt warms eggs in the spring/summer. Mine are controlled by Ranco Thermostats (both heating and cooling).
