Local Cruise
Cruised some local spots the other night and turned up a San Diego Banded Gecko and Nightsnake. Also bought a new Canon 100mm Macro USM and tested it out. Enjoy. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8862/17319714976_518fae1071_b.jpg IMG_1782 by shredsteban , on Flickr https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7758/1...

Yeah the putty is great. I use it for a bunch of different house hold items and even things for work. I've never had any joints that had JB Weld on it fail. I've snapped the actual golf club before the weld gave out.

This sounds like one of the biggest arguments for getting people educated and involved in the community to some degree. Even if they don't care about other people, just helping them understand that they're ruining their own future chances at that boardline might allow them to realize that leaving t...

Great stuff. I love the pattern on that DOR Speck. Was the rattle cut off? Great head shot of that boa. Thanks Lou. Couldn't tell if the rattle had been cut off or if it was scraped off while being run over. I was pretty bummed about that one because that would have been my first desert-ish speck. ...

This is infuriating. One of the best lines here in Corona was destroyed that way, then ultimately by development. Which is unfortunate, because this is one of the last accessible fields in the Corona foothills of the Santa Ana Mtns. This line was made by my friend Chris with piles of tin that he had...

Ruber or Atrox?
The answer to this is probably apparent to almost everyone here. I road cruised this DOR "ruber" last summer with a friend on WW. I swore that it was a ruber. He really believed it was an atrox. But from enough reading on here and with the help from Marc Linsalata, I knew atrox's range did...

My most significant find for this year is nothing special. Just your typical "cheater" boa. But it was my first flipped boa. I've seen many boas road cruising, on the crawl, in holes and halfway out of holes. But this one was special to me because my first snake of 2015 was my first ever f...
