Re: ID4
Im not really sure why everyone is freaking out, people post pictures of nasty DORs all the time, at least its not nasty. And its clear that he was wishing everyone a happy July 4th, the article is about the rattlesnake being a symbol of the U.S. Why are some people so lazy?
Re: ID4
I believe the above animal was dead, Barry posted it up in a previous post that the animal did not make it through a cold spell near snake road.

Josh, I have noticed it this year as well.. I definitely have been out into the field more, but the quality of finds (more rare stuff) has been up there for sure! Maybe it's the weather... its been way different here than normal years.

Good stuff Tim. I always liked the "random day" posts from last year. I'll have to give it a go myself sometime soon. I don't know if id be able to stick with it on a rainy day like that though. I particularly enjoyed the Water Snakes and the Salt Marsh Snake. Thanks for enduring it for us...

Thanks everyone, the Mole Kings in this area are beautiful, though I have not found an adult yet. I hope to before the end of the year. That coachwhip was AWESOME!! We actually found a pair chasing each other across the road but were only able to corner 1 of them.

Hello all, i've had the pleasure of getting out quite a bit this March here in North AL, and I have here a series of photos from the month. The weather has been insanely warm for this time of year. Have you tried letting it crawl around (i.e get away from you) to exhaust it? This usually works when trying to photograph larger snakes, they aren't like us and they will tire out eventually..
