James can correct me if needed, but they had about 400 adult frogs (half or so on display in that public window) and innumerable froglets...

Agreed with the others about the hooked softshell- it should be just fine. They are a lot tougher than most people give them credit for. Anyone have any ideas as to what these fish are? I've done a fair amount of searching, but have not come up with anything concrete. The boas there are not Boa constrictor constrictor, but B. c. imperator. Too bad you didn't find any wild ones! I looked when I was there in 2011, but didn't see any either.

I would love to go back sometime soon. Looks like it was a fun trip.

Interesting. Not at all the reaction I was thinking I would see. It looks to me like it was having a little trouble swallowing (food item got 'stuck') and it was helping to push it down.
