This Dinodon rufozunatum was spotted dining on a large Bankoro Toad (Bufo bankorensis) in the same ditch we found the large krait last night. This is the first time I've witnessed a snake feeding - and boy, was I excited! Incidentally, when I spotted this scene, I wasn't sure what I was looking at and for a split second actually believed it was some kind of freakishly red-black banded cobra. :silly:

I'm loving these nightly reports. Nice find on the feeding red banded snake.
