Hi Zach, that looks like great country to do research in. The pond may have A. tigrinum californiense, yes? I used to find them on nearby roads/ranches decades ago. What are you/they electroshocking with the boat? Interesting post, we will look forward to your conclusions and the status of the evolutionary arms race between ground squirrels and rattlesnakes...

What a great place to work. Sure beats a room full to wires and electronics. I did have one question, is robo squirrel heated? I think the reason for the question should be obvious.

thanks for the replies - they are surveying for bass, and I'm not sure if tiger's do well in ponds with fish. Oh and yes, Robo-Squirrel is heated to the appropriate temperature
