The promise of a warm afternoon drew me to a den site. The Wisconsin overnight temp was about 30 and afternoon high 57. I was rewarded with my first ever Wisconsin Bull Snake and a very big adult at that. I've taken to the In Situ ethic and the snake was very cooperative. It's nice to just let them be. I went back 45 minutes later and it was gone. Magic moments indeed. There were a couple bonus Garter snakes nearby.

That is an awesome monster bull. Great that you just let it do its thing.
