Not much more to say, but temps probably high 50s or low 60s at 11:20AM! Sorry, no pics as I was riding and didn't expect to see a herp.

This is crazy because I too came cross a YoY Pacific Gopher today, Dec 10, at around 11:45 am off the side of the road in a Eucalyptus stand. Will post pics later.

Yeah, I did a short hike yesterday and it was 62 degrees at 11:00AM up here. Only herp was a turtle, but saw a bobcat.

My Nov. 30 contribution to the late year catenifer:

Far out Zach ...and it is probably much colder up there.

Nice pic Owen, beautiful little Pacific.

Sorry Dude, I was got so involved in shooting the Gila Monster that I totally forgot about the snake. But now that my integrity has been challenged, I won't post those ;-)

December 10, 2001. San Mateo County (about 15 minutes south of San Francisco). Air temperature was 56F, with nighttime temps at about 47F throughout the week. Needless to say, I was very shocked to see any snake out, especially a gopher snake. Forgot my camera so I bagged the snake for some at home shots (hence the unnatural setting).
