Photography Maintenance Tips?
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just got my first camera a few months ago (Nikon D3500) for mostly nature/wildlife photography. I feel like my images were crisper then than they are now. Am I supposed to be wiping the front and back of the lens off each time? Is it something that got tweaked in my settings? I've been taking good care of storing it and not getting it dirty, but I'm just wondering if I'm missing something. Feel like such a beginner with this stuff and not really sure how to go about it. Thank you!

Unless the lens is really dirty, I wouldn't expect it would make a huge difference. I'm mostly having to clean my sensor of dust specks, but that results in spots on my image rather than an overall reduction in quality.
