A lot of field herpers seem to go fishing, or maintain aquariums, as much as they do herp! Any and all things fish are welcome in this forum.

So awhile ago I posted a long winded story involving our hunt for an "honest ten pound bass" from far south FL. We did it in spades...in one afternoon. I'll write the post when I get a chance. Maybe it'll give this forum a little kick in the pants.

I'm sure no one wants to hear an ice fishing story where the strippers came on to the stage wearing snowmobile suits and Green Bay Packer helmets, right?

I'm down with the ice fishing story
Plus I'd love to see an honest ten lb bass!
Warm winter here so far, just skim ice that melts every day. Getting some perch and smallies jigging on edges. But it's slow going.
