I've been pretty low key for awhile and not really herping as much as I should. Took up fishing to relax. Cabezon and Monkey-faced Prickleback from rocky intertidal zone in southern San Mateo County. Normally catch the "eels" with a poke pole, but managed two huge adults with line and hook. Bait probably landed near a crevice or hole.
A lot of field herpers seem to go fishing, or maintain aquariums, as much as they do herp! Any and all things fish are welcome in this forum.
