Ducks are hard because I only have an Iphone app to ID them.

I concur, all ID's correct. I am new to the birding forum, is it appropriate to ask or list locales? That is a really picuturesque place you shot the tree ducks...may I ask where? Don't worry, I am in Californnia and I won't be descending upon your special place.

I think because birding is relatively non-consumptive, people are willing to share localities.

The photos remind me very much of some of the coastal refuges here in TX. Anyone of those photos could have been taken at Aransas NWR, Santa Ana NWR, or Llano Estero Grande State park here in Texas. I suspect these localities are somewhere in Guerrero, Mexico so there won't be a big rush of us to look for them there. Not that I don't want to, it is just a rather long (and perilous) drive.
