Cool series, but no sneaking herps onto the birding forum! :lol:

Those Yellow-headed blackbirds are certainly gorgeous birds.

Is that a Nutria? You have Nutria and Bullfrogs in UT? Bummer.

I thought it was a mink in the field, it was only on the surface for a moment, but after looking at the photo closely I am 98% convinced it is a muskrat. No nutria here for sure, but bullfrogs are ubiquitous unfortunately, I rarely see any other type of amphibian in Northern Utah. I do still have a few toad and leopard frog spots they haven't overrun.
