Did you see this?

Apparently, a guy was videotaping a Least Bittern at Bosque del Apache NWR (NM) a couple of days ago and a different bird just happened to walk through the frame for the first US record!

I'm sure the rush is on now. Probably tough to rent a car in Albuquerque in the next day or two.

Too cool. How lucky of that guy. Wonder if he knew what he videoed at first?

On a side note, I saw my lifer Least Bittern at Bosque also!

I thought about going for it, but it's quite a haul from SoCal......and I've been out of town a lot lately so getting time off from work might be difficult :?
