Apparently, a guy was videotaping a Least Bittern at Bosque del Apache NWR (NM) a couple of days ago and a different bird just happened to walk through the frame for the first US record!

I thought about going for it, but it's quite a haul from SoCal......and I've been out of town a lot lately so getting time off from work might be difficult
