I rarely go after birds with the camera. But over the last few months I have managed to get a few shots that are actually worth posting up. Most of these were taken at the Bolsa Chica reserve in Southern Calif.

I like the reddish egret, they are so animated when they feed! Cool shot with the pintails,as well. I've always thought that scoters were the inspiration for Daffy Duck :D

The first time I saw the reddish egret do its little squawking dance to scare up some prey I thought the thing was having a seizure. Neat bird and so very reptile like when hunting.
