If any of you are interested in getting a lifer, a White-Tailed Kite showed up in coastal Fairfield County, Connecticut on August 1st. As of this morning, the Kite is still there.
It's been a huge deal with thousands of people showing up to see the bird. Check the Audubon article for location.

That's cool. WT Kites are beautiful birds.
We had a Sooty Tern at a lake in town yesterday courtesy of TS Hermine. I didn't have a chance to go look for it.
