My wife and I like to feed the turtles in the apartment complex pond. A few days ago, while feeding the turtles, this crow landed near us and stared at us intently. So we tossed it some bread. It seemed to enjoy this. So today we went back to the pond and started feeding again, but with my camera as well. After about a half hour, this crow flew by overhead, then did a quick U-turn and landed near us.

It never occurred to me that I could feed a crow like this. What I think is totally amazing is that the crow probably flew over and saw people tossing food out to the turtles (which happens a lot here) and learned that it could get in on the action. Now if I could only train it to fetch me quarters in return.
